Add a Model

Before you can start, you have to add a few models to your Parley.

A. Open the Add Model Menu

1. Hover over the plus ( + ) button in the lower left corner of the interface.
2. Slide the toggle switch at the bottom to Templates.
3. When you have saved models, they will be displayed in the Saved section.

B. Select your Inference Provider from the list.

• Fill in the blanks:

1. Model - Select the Model you wish to use.
   1. Not all models are available from all Inference Providers.
2. System Prompt - Enter or edit System Prompt if used.
   1. This System Prompt is sent along with all messages to help guide the model's response.
3. API url - Review the API url. For most Providers this will be adequate.
   1. You will need to complete or replace this url for custom dedicated inference.
4. Parameter - Review and update Parameter list.
   1. See the section specific to your Inference Provider of choice for details.
5. API Key - Don't forget to enter your API Key!
   1. See your inference provider's instructions for obtaining an API Key.
6. notes - The notes field is just for your reference.

• Some fields may have been pre-filled for you.

C. Click Activate Model to add it to the Active list.
